As an M&A Analyst, you will immediately put your sales, analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management, and leadership abilities to work. You’ll be in the middle of the action - collaborating with top executives, engaging directly with the clients you bring into the firm, and helping drive growth across the organization.
You are the engine of SellSide Group’s momentum, and your work will make a direct, visible impact on both our clients and our team.
What You Will Do
Every day is a different challenge, here is a sample of what you can expect to experience and accomplish:
Business Development & Sales

Identify, prospect, and qualify new sales leads

Schedule and deliver meetings and presentations with prospective clients

Create, plan, and present SellSide Group’s capabilities and service offerings

Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and track all sales activities
-
Build and nurture strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers

Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently meet or exceed quotas
-
Partner with cross-functional team members to ensure a seamless, effective sales effort

Communicate customer and prospect insights to internal teams for continuous improvement
Client Project Work
-
Work as part of a case team, owning specific workstreams within client projects
-
Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to support strategic recommendations
-
Conduct interviews with clients’ customers, competitors, suppliers, and employers to gather critical market intelligence
-
Present findings and insights to case teams and clients in a clear, structured manner
-
Over time, supervise and mentor junior BDCs as you gain experience
