Joe Hallow

Joe Hallow is a senior executive with over 20 years of hands-on operating experience, specializing in organizational development and growth strategy. He has a long history of turning around businesses in challenging environments, with both public and private companies. Joe has cross-functional leadership experience in the Healthcare and Real Estate industries.

Hallow started his career selling technology systems to hospitals and in 1993 joined a global leader in the medical device industry, Boston Scientific. He rapidly advanced into senior management and was very involved in the early-stage development of the Urology and Surgical GYN businesses, which today exceeds $1 billion in revenue globally. Joe held multiple positions at Boston Scientific and provided transformational and results-oriented leadership during his eleven-year tenure. In 2004, Hallow pivoted into the world of real estate development and hotel operations. He joined Charlotte-based Bissell Companies and during his tenure as a multifunctional c-suite executive, the company developed one of the fastest growing mixed-use communities in the country. The organization experienced explosive growth during his thirteen-year career and built a reputation of excellence amongst associates, customers and industry peers. In mid 2017, the company sold for $1.2 billion to New York based private equity group, Northwoods. Since that time, Hallow has provided strategic advisory services and capital investment for several early-stage growth companies and real estate projects.

Joe is a passionate, engaged member of YPO and has held numerous leadership positions in the organization. Over the years, he has had a significant commitment to philanthropic and community boards with a passion for active military and veteran initiatives such as the USO. He also serves on the corporate boards of Abundant Power Group and Byrne Media Group. Joe is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, resides in Charlotte and is the proud father of 3 wonderful children.
