Vasaki Mahesan

Vasaki Mahesan is a first year student intending on majoring in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. She's passionate about the finance industry and hopes to pursue a career in it in the future. At Berkeley, she's a senior consultant for Optimir Consulting, in which she works with local startup companies to enhance their businesses. She's also a Carnatic violinist and is a part of Laya of Berkeley, a club that creates music with a fusion of Carnatic and Hindustani classical music styles. Outside of school, Vasaki enjoys making ice cream and traveling.

Vasaki is a Business Development Consultant Intern at Sellside Group, where she's eager to learn more about the field of M&A and develop skills to help her in the professional world.
