We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our leadership team as a Senior Associate. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of up-to 20 direct reports, driving business development initiatives, and contributing to our continued success.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you are instrumental in driving Sellside Group's growth and success. Your key responsibilities include:
Leadership and Team Management
Lead and manage a dynamic team of 20 business development consultants and interns at Sellside Group. Extend your leadership beyond daily operations to encompass mentorship, professional development, and fostering a collaborative team culture. Additionally, provide crucial support to Senior Managing Directors, contributing to the overall success and cohesion of the broader organization.


Key Leadership Attributes
Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. Facilitate transparent communication within the team, with clients, and across senior management.
Organizational Excellence: Exhibit exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results. Streamline processes to contribute to operational efficiency.
Relationship Building: Emphasize the importance of building strong internal and external relationships. Foster collaborative partnerships within your team, across departments, and with clients to strengthen Sellside Group's position as a trusted industry partner.
Strategic Buy and Sell Side Processes
Take charge of running end-to-end buy and sell side processes, leveraging your expertise in navigating complex transactions. Orchestrate seamless processes, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and driving successful outcomes for Sellside Group's clients.
M&A Expertise
Leverage your 2-5 years of M&A experience to guide your team through intricate deal landscapes. From deal origination to valuations and overseeing the entire deal lifecycle, your leadership is integral to Sellside Group's M&A success.


Qualifications
5 years of M&A experience
Proven experience in sales, lead generation, and business development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and creative thinking skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment
Proven ability to meet and exceed quotas
