Vasily Konachenkov

Vasily Konachenkov is an M&A Analyst in Sellside Group’s Technology practice, where he supports founders and owner-operators through lower middle-market buy-side and sell-side transactions. He works on outreach strategy, financial analysis, and transaction materials, helping ensure a disciplined and efficient process from initial positioning through closing. He also leads and manages an internal analyst team, maintaining consistency, responsiveness, and attention to detail across active engagements.

Prior to joining Sellside Group, Vasily gained experience in private equity, real estate private equity, and founder-led businesses, working across valuation, diligence, capital raising, and strategic analysis. This background gives him a balanced perspective, understanding both the priorities of business owners and the evaluation criteria of institutional buyers.

Vasily is completing a double major in Economics and Political Science at the University of Toronto, following his graduation from Choate Rosemary Hall. He is fluent in English, French, and Russian. Outside of work, he is a lifelong competitive golfer and remains active through golf, tennis, skiing, travel, and time with family and friends.
