John is a result driven executive with 30 years of experience leading successful businesses in the industrial materials market space. With a successful track record of driving revenue and profit growth and effectively managing P&L results, he has been successful in Private, Public, and PE backed companies. As a strategic global leader with direct responsibilities for sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, business development and financial performance, John has successfully driven strategic growth across a global marketplace.
After an initial 12 years in the flooring industry, John spent 17 years in leadership driving success at TenCate Protective Fabrics in the advanced materials/technical textiles market, focused on mission critical end user markets of Defense, Emergency Response, Fire Service, Oil and Gas, and Electric Utility. John spent the last few years leading the turnaround of the Commercial division at Omnimax, a building materials business providing metals to the Agricultural, Outdoor Building and Architectural space and had a stint as a COO for a start-up business focus on the “future of apparel” through waste reduction and re-use and eliminating apparel in the landfill.
John’s expertise includes working with companies on strategic planning and commercial growth, positive culture and organizational development, business development and market expansion, end user marketing, turnaround management, P&L management (EBIDTA growth), and business review prep and presentation.
John is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a BS in Industrial Management and an Executive Certificate in General Management from the Darden School at University of Virginia.
John has been married for 30 years and has 2 children and 3 dogs and resides in Atlanta, Ga
