Chris Yount

Chris Yount is the former CEO of Fortifiber Corporation, a manufacturer of residential and light commercial waterproofing products. He took the company from near bankruptcy to the highest profitability in its 80-year history; facilitating a sale to Henry Company where Mr. Yount led the brand, sales, and customer integrations.
He serves on several corporate boards, sharing his wealth of experience in construction, manufacturing, marketing, and M&A. Chris also frequently writes articles for Family Business Magazine and guest lectures at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Mr. Yount received his MBA from University of California at Irvine and bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego. He makes his home in Reno, NV with his wife and two children.
