Katya Matsko

Katya is a sophomore at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She is working on obtaining her bachelor's degree in finance as well as a certificate in international business studies with a focus on Spanish. Upon graduation, she would like to work for a finance firm.

Katya was originally born and raised in Russia. In 2010, she and her family moved to the small town of Sedro-Woolley in Washington state. Immigrating to the United States taught Katya the importance of hard work and determination. She puts her best effort into everything she does and never leaves a detail unnoticed. Katya is a very motivated individual!

In her free time, Katya loves to be in the company of her cats. Additionally, she is always eager to learn new things, especially about politics and history. 

Katya is a very caring individual whose biggest goal in life is to make a positive difference in the world.
